Canada Alberta Job Grant
Up to 100% of training costs covered for employee training! The Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG) is a funding program where employers and government share the cost of training new and existing employees to increase their knowledge and skills to meet the needs of Alberta’s changing economy.
For Employers:

Some basic qualification factors:
-Training must be for employees only, business owners or family members of business owners do not qualify under this grant.
-training must be a minimum of 21 hours. This can be multiple courses listed under one application.
-applications must be received a minimum of 30 days prior to scheduled training start date.
-Newly hired employees (within 30 days) who were previously unemployed for a minimum of 30 days may qualify for 100%
reimbursement of training costs.
-Current employees may qualify for 2/3 reimbursement of training costs.

Step 2: Complete the Training Application. There is a separate application for employees that qualify as a New Hire.

When filling out the application, you will need to obtain a quote and any additional supporting documents you may need from Business IQ Training. Business IQ will advise you on which supporting documents you will require.
Step 3: Once you have received Grant approval contact us to confirm your course registrations and arrange for payment. Prepayment of courses will be required prior to course start date and prior to any reimbursement.
